This is going to be an interesting one. Ordinarily I don't watch these things because it's all so much showmanship and transparent manipulation that it bores me silly.
We will be there, with rings on our fingers and bells on our toes and a bone.... oops...well a glass of merlot in hand. Hope and pray that it turns out well, and McCain goes home in a huff, calling his girlie cheerleader a c**t. A perfect night!
Peter, I'm all ready for it here. Have a chef salad made and will park in front of the tv - preferably CSPAN so I don't have to hear commentary. I wonder how long it will be.

Ruth, I found that photo on the Internet. I'm not even sure what it is about.. but it fit. :)

Feather, I do hope her true colors show.. but would prefer to never hear a man call any woman such a filthy name.

Meno, I admit to being curious about what she'll wear, too. :)

Olivia, yeah.. it will be a hoot. It's not that I take any of this particularly seriously. It's about the same level as pop culture in the end. There's something about Sarah though... :)
Do you know, there are Canadian debates going on tonight also. And I have to admit, I didn't watch yours, I didn't watch mine. There will be time enough in the reliving it tomorrow. There will be time. (And then there won't...)
Erin, the picture made me laugh, too! :) I wish I'd been able to watch the Canadian debates. It would have been far more interesting!

Angela, same same. Didn't influence me one bit. My mind was already made up. It was just interesting theater.

Sarah, I know what you mean! The polls are a bunch of bull though. I've been reading all the blogs this morning which is ultimately far more telling. Everyone thinks SP tanked.
Yup, I'll be there! Can't wait. I don't see how Palin can last this one out and still be standing at the end of it. Love your picture, by the way.
ReplyDeleteYes, we're watching.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is very funny.

ReplyDeleteOh hell yes! I can't wait to see what color lipstick she wears. :)
ReplyDeleteTivo-ing it, but watching it later tonight...should be verrrry interesting! Fun, O

ReplyDeleteThat picture made me LAUGH!
I watched. I listened. I didn't change my mind about a goddamned thing.
ReplyDeleteThe debate was depressing enough.
ReplyDeleteThe polls today? Even more so.
