Gratitude

For those who may have difficulty reading my chicken-scratching:

My gratitude is primarily for the process of life itself ~ the ability to learn, to grow, to change and to choose again when I've chosen incorrectly. I'm grateful to be sober and sane ~ and for the clarity to make better choices.

And I am grateful to all of you, my cyber community, for being an integral part of that.

May all have a wonder-filled Thanksgiving.

Peace to all ~

Happy Thanksgiving, Chani. Even with all the garbage that goes on in the world I can be grateful that I am living a sober and sane life. Maybe you and I and all the rest of us who want peace can pass some good vibes on. I hope so.

Daufiero, thanks. I never thought I'd put my ugly chicken scratch out on the Internet ~ but I guess we never know what we might do on impulse, eh? :)

Leann, thank you... I plan to have a very peaceful time here. Each of the housemates has a different plan, all of them here ~ but mostly taking this 24-hour period to be entirely free of all stress.

Jen, we are all okay ~ one way or another. External circumstances are just that.. but what lives inside is pretty dang awesome sometimes. :)

Ginnie, sobriety is at the top of the list. There would be nothing else without that.

Liv, thanks. :) You guessed it... Of course I will be cooking Thai food. LOL

Gobody... thank you! :)

Anvil, I don't pay much attention to the cultural aspects of the holiday but I kind of like the idea of a day when everything shuts down and people pay attention to the more important things in their lives. If it takes a holiday to make that happen, hey, I'll go along. :)

mslittlepea, many blessings to you, too!

Deb, the greatest thing I ever learned is that I get to choose what I participate in. Christmas is just out of the question. Celebrating greed and materialism is something I can't abide at all.

Thanks everyone... hope you all have a wonderful time, whatever you choose to do. :)

Peace,

~Chani
