Idle thoughts.....

I am knee-deep in a book. That is probably where I will remain the rest of the day. "A Christmas Carol" is on TV. (Yeah, so... stop laughing. It's rude. I like the symbolism. )

It's Just Posts Day. Check them out. There's certainly something far more interesting there than here. :)

Will someone let me know if there's something wrong with this? Is Blogger down? This post has been sitting here inactive for five hours.

Thanks.

Thanks, Maddy. I was seriously beginning to wonder. I was going to go ahead and delete it but if there was something wrong, I'll just leave it alone. :)

I've been gone all day, but Maddy told me there was a problem with mine this morning. She said she encountered a firewall when she tried to visit my blog.

I'll check out those posts now that I'm home. Thanks for the heads up!

I'd never laugh. Tonight, we were talking about being "poor in spirit" and how it was, in many ways, worse than being financially poor. When Laura asked what it meant to be poor in spirit, I used Scrooge as an example......so now, we need to watch it again as well, so she understands. I COULD have mentioned THE SHOOMEN, but of course, I am much too grown up to offer her as an example.

We can all see ourselves, and the chance for redemption in A Christmas Carol.

I would never laugh at that.
